Marketing Account Executive

We are looking for an account management professional that will bring creativity, energy, and commitment to help drive our mission. The Marketing Account Executive will report to the Associate Director of Account Services and act as an advocate and strategic partner for internal clients and our award-winning Creative Team. This individual will collaborate daily with partners across the organization to help shape marketing plans and deliver best-in-class creative.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serving in a lead role that manages assignments, project schedules, deadlines, and strategic priorities.
  • Seamlessly coordinating the completion of deliverables on time while maintaining strong client satisfaction.
  • Shaping marketing plans and managing a high volume of assets within integrated and multi-part campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Developing and nurturing a close working relationship with a diverse group of clients by gaining a deeper understanding of their work and strategic goals, providing marketing recommendations, and proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Scheduling and attending appropriate input meetings to provide the creative team with detailed and complete briefs, thorough schedules, and clear, actionable feedback.
  • Communicating client needs in a timely manner to all cross-functional partners ensuring projects/creative solutions are on strategy and on brand.
  • Effectively presenting the Creative Team’s recommendations and points of view.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to better manage workflow, improve account-related processes and systems, and increase the effectiveness of our creative.
  • Communicating regularly with Associate Director of Account Services regarding challenges, opportunities, suggestions, and improvements, and following up on the progress or solution implemented.
  • Supporting and participating in initiatives and activities to boost morale and improve culture.
  • Staying informed on current trends and innovations in advertising, marketing and technology.
  • Periodically attending CJP events to gain a deeper understanding of our work, hear remarks, and see marketing materials come to life in the space.
  • Play an active role in on-boarding and educating clients on creative team processes, job order and proofing systems, and marketing best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Experience:

  • 5+ years of account service/communication management experience, management of teams or projects.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of print production, digital and email marketing, and social media strategy.
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to partner with diverse team members and implement feedback.
  • Consistently open-minded, positive, and adaptable to changes and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills.
  • Consistently strong organization skills and ability to adapt, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks/projects and actively communicate shifts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet, and solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes and shifting priorities.
  • Must have a sense of humor.

Other:

  • An understanding of the Jewish community and Federation organizations is a plus.
  • Experience working within a creative group or advertising agency is also a plus.
