CJP is saddened, shocked, and outraged by the horrific terror attacks against worshippers and tourists in three cities in Sri Lanka today.

The human toll is staggering. At least 207 people were killed and hundreds more were wounded by the coordinated series of bombings at churches and hotels, timed to coincide with religious services during one of the holiest days for our Christian brothers and sisters.

We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and send our love and compassion to the resilient people of Sri Lanka.
