In the last 24 hours, over 300 rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza. This is the highest number of rockets fired into Israel in a single day, and the attacks are ongoing.

Israel’s soldiers and citizens are always in our thoughts and prayers, but even more so during difficult times like this. CJP stands in solidarity with the people of Israel and reaffirms the right of the State to defend itself.

Terrorists in Gaza are arbitrarily targeting Israeli’s civilian population, striking cities and towns and injuring numerous Israelis. These attacks come as Israel mourns a young lieutenant colonel who was killed last night during a military operation (his name has been withheld by authorities for security purposes).

Our hearts are with the tens of thousands of Israelis who are under attack this evening. We pray for their safety, for the swift recovery of those who have been injured, and a speedy end to the escalation in violence.
