CJP’s Strategic Israel Engagement (SIE) mission is to inform, engage, and empower the Greater Boston community.

We serve as an educational resource by compiling the top headlines from Israel each weekday morning through our Daily News Roundup, producing primers on some of the most complex issues though The Shpiel, and leading educational programming through Israel in Depth.

SIE is also fostering rich and thoughtful discussions and explorations. Through our CommUNITY Israel Dialogue we are building a culture that bridges divisions and enables vibrant engagement in the Boston Jewish community, while our israel360 initiatives offer online and in-person forums to connect young adults to the diverse facets of Israel.

We are empowering our community by partnering with the Israeli American Council on a real-time non-partisan activism center called the Boston Media Room. We recently launched Project Inspire to give young adults the opportunity to witness Israel’s global innovation and grassroots impact up close, and Boston Partners for Peace to support NGOs that are building a shared future among Israelis and Palestinians.

SIE is committed to fulfilling a vision of a community that is deeply engaged with Israel — one that recognizes its profound significance to the Jewish people and its contributions to the rest of the world, and one that is inspired to proudly share its remarkable story.
