2023 RSIP Grant Guidelines
- Applicants are eligible to submit one grant application per fiscal year
- Applicants are eligible to apply for up to $1,000 of funding. Although this is the maximum amount, smaller project applications are also eligible and encouraged
- All applicants must be an RSIP partner and a synagogue or other religious organization that is a currently operating house of worship in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Applications will be open on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, and must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023. Please note there will be no extensions, so please be sure to input your grant application in a timely manner. Decisions are expected to be announced the week of May 29th, 2023
- Program and publicity materials for initiatives that receiving funding must include the RSIP logo and this tagline: This initiative is supported in part by a grant from The Ruderman Synagogue Inclusion Project
- All grantees must demonstrate consideration of accessibility and participation for individuals of all abilities
- Organizations awarded RSIP grants agree that RSIP may share a general overview of the proposed project with other RSIP partners and to announce the grants publicly to the community grant projects
Funding is not available for the following:
- Capital projects
- Endowments
- Scholarships
Please note:
- First-time grantees need to provide a current copy of their organization’s W9, 501c3, Mission Statement, and EFT banking instructions
- Organizations that have received a grant within the last two years from CJP are not required to resubmit their W9 and 501c3
- Organizations that have previously received a grant in the form of a check from CJP, please note that we will now require EFT banking instructions to complete the application
