Giving Energized Leaders the Tools They Need

Last year, through the Leadership Development Institute (LDI), CJP helped more than 400 rabbis and laypeople from Greater Boston’s Jewish community shape, communicate, and carry out significant plans for their institutions.

The LDI supports our community leaders through professional and organizational workshops along with coaching and training. Last year, 146 rabbis and lay leaders representing 40 organizations attended at least one of six professional workshops designed and facilitated by the LDI. The LDI team also provided consulting services for 12 synagogues and four community partner organizations in the areas of strategic planning, goal setting, staff training, and much more.

“Our temple has turned to the LDI for many types of assistance with leadership questions, and we have always appreciated the wisdom provided to help us meet those challenges,” said Rabbi Andrew Vogel of Temple Sinai in Brookline.

“We are, without a doubt, the clear beneficiaries of CJP’s vision to invest in synagogue leadership through this program, and we are grateful for that vision.”
