Public/Private Partnership in Support of Jewish Day Schools
Greater Boston’s 14 Jewish day schools are places of learning and community where Jewish values and traditions are part of the everyday school experience.
Thanks to your support, during the last school year CJP advocated on behalf of Jewish day school students for access to federal support to which they are legally entitled. As a direct result of these efforts, nearly $565,000 went to support services for children with disabilities, English language learners, and low-income and vulnerable students. Moreover, a portion of that funding is being used for professional development, security infrastructure, and specialty services.
Through this work, we have built relationships with our Catholic school counterparts and local public school district representatives, ensuring all students and schools can receive and participate in vital services for years to come.
